Welcome To My Home Page My name is Ross Montgomery.
You can call me MINIKID thats my race nickname I am 16 years old and i am mad about Mini racing. I race a Full SEGTO race spec 1000cc Mini at Standlake arena, nr Oxford and a standard 1000cc Mini at Mendips raceway, Nr Bristol. I also do MINISTOX racing. These are minis with nudge bars as it is contact racing. I race no. 914. Plus i race on grass/mud at SRBR. I have raced a 1.1 metro and a 1300 toyota corrola which i won 2 championships with.

| News and views 2006 I want to win my 2nd championship in a row 26/2/06 Good start to the year, leading the Standlake points 16/4/06 Leading the junior banger championship 4/6/06 Up to 3rd in the SEGTO nationals 6/8/06 I Got 2ND in the SEGTO championship ----------------------------------------------
12/04/04 Mendips final had missfire Lucky to get 7th. Well done to Cirtis Dud on his 3rd place behind me in his 1st mini race. 24/04/04 Upgraded to Blue top driver at Standlake Arena. 25/04/04 1st time out in new ex. Hayes racing mini. Racing in Team Hayes/select 4 wheel drive racing colours. 26/04/04 Upgraded to red top at Mendip as I am 5th in the points. Now I have to start at the back of the grid. 03/05/04 Damaged Mendips mini Tom Cambridge (fast driver had a 1st last meeting see photo page) span in front of me couldn't miss him. Hope to rebuild by next meeting. 05/09/04 Now I am 12 I can do the SEGTO rounds. I did my first one on my home track at Standlake. I managed to get 2nd in the final and got a massive trophy, well done to Standlake driver X78 Ben Hearman who came 1st. 25/09/04 My 1st Ministox race. This I did at Ringwood raceway and managed to get 2 trophies. 1st and 3rd. Great nights racing. Well done to big Dan who won the points championship at the same meeting. 10/10/04 Won my first shield race. Im the Stalbridge Linen shield WINNER 2004 Jan 2005 Won the first 2 Finals of the year in ministox. Check out www.autospeed.co.uk July 3rd, Started junior banger racing on the grass in a metro 1.1s. July 31st, 4th & 3rd at mendips, now leading the points championship. Oct 9th Won my 1st Championship. Im the, ORCi MINIROD POINTS CHAMPION 2005 I now paint my roof Silver and start every race from the very back of the grid. Sep 17th Won my 2nd and 3rd Championship. Im the, SRBR Junior Points champion & Finals Points Champion 2006 |
